MANILA, Philippines – Swimming can be learned at any age.  After a strenuous week at work, it’s time to relieve stress by learning the basic skills in swimming, building your endurance and enhancing your fitness level.

Bert Lozada Swim School (BLSS), the country’s premier swimming institution, is offering healthy and amateur swimming programs for adults.  With the stress-free and encouraging environment of BLSS, adults can learn the fundamental skills in swimming like floating, arm & leg action and breathing, through their Adult Novice Program.

“Many people perceive that swimming lessons are only for the young and that older people already have a hard time learning.  This is not the case.  Here at BLSS, we have students of all ages and all of them have learned to swim,” said Anthony Lozada, President and CEO of BLSS.

For those who are keen on improving their swimming strokes, getting into shape and staying fit, BLSS also offers its Adult Fitness Swimming Program. It is a recreational and fitness swimming program designed to suit each individual needs, whether swimming for fun, fitness or sport. The program used is based on concepts taken directly from the gym, such as doing a good warm up, building the heart rate up and then cooling down and stretching out.

BLSS is offering swimming programs which are structured by its Swim Science methodology, an advanced and efficient procedure of training and engaging students to swim.  Under this methodology, students are grouped by age, skill and maturity level, and all groups are guided by the best swimming instructors dedicated to teach effortless and effective swimming.

“Everyone should learn how to be more comfortable with the water, be it a pool, lake or ocean.  Swimming is an important life skill that everyone must have,” added Lozada.
