Your Super concert ‘gift guide’ for 2013

By

If you haven’t made your Christmas wishlist yet, putting “concert tickets” at the top of the list would be a pretty good start. That is, we’re assuming you have very generous ninongs and ninangs.

Expect a smorgasbord of indie punk and sugary sweet K-pop goodness to hit Manila in the first quarter of 2013. Our beloved trifecta of world-class DJs—Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello, collectively known as Swedish House Mafia—will be kicking off the year on a euphoric (and somewhat bittersweet) note with their swan-song tour first thing in January. That same month, Ely Buendia will give loyal Eraserheads fans one more night of soundtripping down OPM rock memory lane, owing to the immense success of his recent sold-out solo concert.

Meanwhile, comeback kids Paramore, Adam Lambert and The Script (and Jars of Clay, if their Dec. 1 tweet is any valid indication) will play one-night-only shows in February and March. And to think this is just the beginning; more artists are reportedly heading this way in the upcoming months as well. Happy New Year, indeed.
