Mactan resort wins multiple travelers’ choice awards

ABACÁ Boutique Resort’s infinity pool

This year, internationally renowned Abacá Boutique Resort + Restaurant adds three more awards to its already full shelf, earning top honors on Trip Advisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards 2013.

The most luxurious and exclusive resort on Mactan Island, Cebu, was voted the winner, ranking No. 1 of Top 20 Small Hotels in the Philippines. Trip Advisor reviewers voted it No. 3 of Top 25 Luxury Hotels in the Philippines, and No. 5 of Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Philippines.

Abacá Boutique Resort has an oceanfront spa, first-rate restaurant, six private suites, three sprawling villas, and an infinity pool. For New Year’s Eve, “the hotel hired a boat that took guests out to sea to watch the fireworks and drink champagne from various locations along the coast,” said one reviewer from Phoenix, Arizona.

What makes the Trip Advisor reviews special is that they are written not by travel writers, but by ordinary travelers. One guest from Melbourne described Abacá Boutique Resort as having “the best service in Asia.”

Abacá Boutique Resort + Restaurant is on Punta Engaño Road, Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan, Cebu. For bookings and inquiries,  call tel. 6332-4953461 or 6332-2360311; e-mail reservations@abacáresort.com; visit www.abacáresort.com or www.theabacagroup.com.
