McDonald’s to Celebrate First National Breakfast Day on March 18


On Monday, March 18, McDonald’s Philippines will be celebrating the first National Breakfast Day together with 5,000 other McDonald’s restaurants in Asia, Middle East and South Africa. 5 million McMuffins will be given away for free in celebration of this event – making it McDonald’s first and biggest breakfast activity!

In the Philippines, about 300 McDonald’s restaurants serving breakfast will join in the celebration of National Breakfast Day and will each give away 1,000 McMuffins—that’s close to 300,000 free McMuffins nationwide from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM!

McDonald’s Egg McMuffin is an iconic grab n’ go breakfast items loved all over the world—known for its quality ingredients and great taste. This classic favorite is made with a freshly cracked Grade A egg, lightly grilled Canadian bacon, and melty American-style cheese in between perfectly toasted English Muffins.

The Sausage McMuffin is another perfect option for people who are on-the-go and prefer a no-fuss breakfast. Made of juicy beef sausage and the same creamy slice of American-style cheese sandwiched between English Muffins, this will surely start your day right.

Customers can enjoy their free McMuffin via dine-in, take out or drive-thru.

So on March 18, set the alarm early and head to McDonald’s from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM to celebrate the first National Breakfast Day with a free McMuffin! Hooray for Today!
