IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TAKE OFF your makeup before dozing off. This can be a challenge especially during the holidays. And the eye area can be the most challenging. It must be done to avoid irritation, clogging of pores and even infection.

Remember, the skin around the eye area is seven times more sensitive than the rest of the face so be extra gentle.

Here are some products you can use to remove eye makeup.

Olive oil

This is one of my fave beauty products, which is a natural way of removing eye makeup while conditioning lashes at the same time. Put a little olive oil in a cotton ball and gently wipe over the eye area. Remove excess oil with warm damp washcloth by patting gently.

Baby oil

This product is good if you have sensitive skin. Apply exactly how olive oil is applied. It also conditions the lashes.

Cold cream

Gently run your ring finger on the eye area. Use a warm damp washcloth to remove product and makeup at the same time. Make sure it doesn?t go in your eye cause it may sting.

Petroleum jelly

Just use a small amount. Use it like how you use cold creams.

Disposable towelettes

This is the easiest and quickest way to remove eye makeup since you can have it on your bedside table and just wipe off makeup. You don?t have to rinse it off or use washcloths to wipe off the product.

It doesn?t matter what product you choose to remove the eye makeup. What is important is to take it off every night. Merry Christmas!
