CABALEN, THE 23-YEAR-OLD Pampanga food place, is holding Cabalen Para sa Kabataan, in which a percentage of every order is given to a special fund for the poor.

Now on its 12th year, the Christmas charity will benefit poor public school students in Pampanga, Malabon, Pasig City and Taytay and other places devastated by ?Ondoy? and ?Pepeng.?

Turnover of the funds will be in February.

Cabalen offers over 50 dishes. The restaurant also offers freebies, discounts and specials.

For the holidays, Cabalen offers the Paskong Pinoy party package. A party with a minimum of 30 persons gets a free gift certificate.

For a party with 50 persons, there?s a free raffle item (choice of rice cooker or oven toaster) plus a free personalized banner.

For a party with 100 guests, freebies include a free raffle prize (DVD player), free personalized banner, and one gift certificate.

For a party of 150 people and above, freebies include free raffle prize (washing machine), free personalized banner and two gift certificates.

Cabalen Suki or Xmas Party regular customers will receive two gift certificates. Weekday party reservations will get a gift certificate.

Cabalen also offers catering. It has a complete buffet setup with distinct and native arrangements, tables and fully dressed chairs, complete dining setup and complete bar setup with bartender.
