The late Reynaldo G. Alejandro?s last food book co-authored with Vicente Roman S. Mandarin Oriental Manila?s executive pastry chef Roberto Molleman imparts his knowledge in a special cooking class on March 6 at The Tivoli?s kitchen. The Saturday class, which begins 9 a.m., is preceded by a Continental breakfast and followed by a three-course lunch.
Molleman conducts an Easter Afternoon Tea-theme class, with recipes on Scones, Lemon-Raspberry Tart and Earl Grey Tea Chocolate Mousse. The course also includes a session on Easter chocolate molding and decorations.
The lunch consists of Alaskan King Crab Leg, Avocado and Pears Salad; Vanilla Sherbet; Seabass with Asparagus and Balsamic Vinegar; and the pastries demonstrated in class for dessert.
