THE CACTUS AND SUCCULENT SOCIETY with the Quezon Memorial Circle Management will hold a flower and garden show and a Christmas sale Nov. 20-30 at the Quezon Memorial Circle. Theme of the show is ?Gardening for a Better Environment.?
The show has four sections?cacti and succulent landscape and dish gardens, ornamental landscapes, table judging display and commercial plants.
To make viewers aware of the importance of gardening in checking global warming, there will be daily lecture-demonstrations. Garden items will be raffled off free after the lectures.
The show will be formally opened by QC Vice Mayor Herbert Bautista and Joy Belmonte on Nov. 20 at 4 p.m.
