THE IYENGAR YOGA CENTER MANILA (IYCM), HOME OF THE Iyengar style of yoga and the first certified Filipino Iyengar instructors, will hold a three-day workshop on ?Learning Correct Action,? to be conducted by IYCM Director and Founder Rina Ortiz, on Nov. 12-14.
With its precision and attention to detail, Iyengar yoga presents a comprehensive approach to the practice. The workshop will further teach how to get to know one?s body, and learn to use it in the optimum way in the execution of poses or asanas.
Sessions on Nov. 12 and 13, 6-8 p.m., are open to beginners and regular students, while a session on Nov. 14, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., is open to experienced students with at least six months of Iyengar yoga practice.
