The Center for International Trade Expositions & Missions (Citem) commissioned two of the country’s foremost designers to create collections for home and fashion using indigenous materials, for the 60th Manila FAME on Oct. 16-19 at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

She introduces sculpture through purses, bangles and clasps that echo the forms of seashells and Dali’s lobsters.
Research In Motion, the company behind the BlackBerry product line, teamed up with SoFA (School of Fashion and the Arts) for a design challenge. Students were to creatively fuse technology and fashion into holster designs that would carry BlackBerry’s newest smartphone, the BlackBerry Torch 9800. The design challenge revolved around the catch phrase “Best of both worlds.”
