Tonight is the Bb. Pilipinas pageant and for sure, a big, fanatic segment of the population will be tuned in. I might be, too. While I’m no beauty-contest junkie, I’ve started to take interest in our beauty queens since I had the chance to dine with them, and had a fun, chill time.

Indonesia to host Miss World final despite Muslim anger

She almost thought of quitting her longtime romance with beauty pageants for good. But Rizzini Alexis Gomez, who bested 55 other international delegates in the 2012/2013 Miss Tourism International in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last Dec. 31, said her father inspired her to keep going.
