Over 120 beauty queens! How it was in the Bb. Pilipinas 50th-anniversary pageant

Pilipinas 50th-anniversary pageant, over 120 women, including former winners, reigning queens and candidates, paraded during the opening production number, showing off the beauty of the Filipino no matter the age, experience or skin shade.

She almost thought of quitting her longtime romance with beauty pageants for good. But Rizzini Alexis Gomez, who bested 55 other international delegates in the 2012/2013 Miss Tourism International in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last Dec. 31, said her father inspired her to keep going.
