On Monday, March 18, McDonald’s Philippines will be celebrating the first National Breakfast Day together with 5,000 other McDonald’s restaurants in Asia, Middle East and South Africa. 5 million McMuffins will be given away for free in celebration of this event – making it McDonald’s first and biggest breakfast activity!

McDonald’s values the importance of having breakfast in the morning. A report carried out by the University of Edinburgh on behalf of the World Health Organization has stated that the habit of eating breakfast is a must to maintain a good lifestyle. When you have breakfast in the morning, it fuels your mind and body to accomplish daily tasks faster and with more energy, helping you feel like a champion throughout the day and ready to cheer ‘Hooray for Today!’
