Filipino singer Annie Brazil, acknowledged as the country’s own queen of jazz, suffered a stroke in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, according to her son Richard Merk.
JAZZ singer Richard Merk and his wife Roni are known for their generosity to local musicians who need help. In fact, Richard was always organizing fundraising gigs at his now defunct Merk’s Bar Bistro for artists who had been stricken ill.
