WHEN STEVE OLONAN MET HIS future wife, Kim Villacrusis, he was just 14 years old. They were both attending a summer camp for a week and didn?t talk to each other until the last day. Over the next years, the two became close friends, and eventually in college, became a couple. After 8 years of dating, Henry proposed to Kim, and the rest as they say, is history.
Henry Steve R. Olonan and Maria Tezza Katrina Q. Villacrusis were united in marriage on Dec. 21, 2008 at Santuario de San Antonio, Forbes Park, with Fr. Ed Tiamson officiating. The groom is the son of architect Enrique Olonan and Cecilia Resuello Olonan. The bride is the daughter of Dante Villacrusis and Lydia Quismorio Villacrusis. The reception was held at Makati Shangri-La, where everyone enjoyed the superbly prepared dinner buffet while the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra serenaded the couple and guests.
Steve being an architect and Kim, an interior designer, it was no surprise that every little detail was not left to chance. They used a ruby and turquoise color palette with delicate touches of gold, from the invitations to the entourage gowns which the bride and groom conceptualized.
