THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR not knowing how to improve one?s lifestyle in order to maximize God-given gifts: one?s body, mind and spirit.
Throat-clearing
A habit of many people, it has become acceptable even in social and business circles. The time when throats need to be cleared is the moment phlegm blocks the nasal passages. This is due to several reasons:
1) Acid reflux?Poor digestion caused by acidity makes gas rise up from the stomach to the throat, thus irritating it. Fix the real problem?one?s diet (go for more alkaline food like fruits and vegetables), or lack of digestive enzymes/hydrochloric acid (consult a doctor).
2) Dehydration?A clear sign of dryness is an itchy throat. Drink as much water as you can, up to three liters a day.
3) Pollution?Poor quality air in the city contributes to more phlegm produced by the body as a way of expelling toxins.
4) Dental health / hygiene?Post nasal drip can be caused by poor dental care and buildup of bacteria in the mouth. Some people manifest an allergic reaction to dental amalgam and root canals. See a dentist.
Menopause and fatigue
Extreme states of pain and fatigue can be caused by menopause. This is because hormonal imbalances are the culprit. One of the first organs affected is the thyroid. Have it checked together with your hormone screening. The erratic levels of one?s estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) or the mother hormone, pregnenolone (memory hormone), melatonin (sleep hormone) and human growth hormone or HGH can cause a general feeling of malaise, fatigue, pain, exhaustion and depression.
Stick to an all-natural eating lifestyle; exercise, have adequate sleep and multivitamins and minerals.
Note: Your body can only produce HGH if you get enough sleep. It is released only in the deep stages of sleep. See for yourself how much younger you look the next morning after a good night?s sleep, and vice-versa after losing sleep the night before.
Lifestyle diseases
Thirty years ago, the prevalence of diseases like hypertension, diabetes and cancer were unheard of. Today, they are considered diseases caused by one?s lifestyle.
It?s diet, diet and diet. Dr. Russell Blaylock, author of ?Natural Strategies for Cancer Patients,? explains that it is now evident that nutrients derived from plants can alter cancer cells into normal cells, while simultaneously protecting normal cells from becoming cancer cells.
He says that if we don?t take our diets seriously, there will be dire consequences?an estimated 70 percent of all cancers are diet-related. This means red meat, bad fats, food additives and high-carbohydrate diets promote the growth of existing cancer cells.
Befriend broccoli, cauliflower, sprouts of all kinds, wheat grass, dark, leafy greens right now. You won?t be sorry.
Radiant skin
There is only one way to have glowing skin. You need to glow from the inside. Get as much raw food (veggies and fruits) as possible. They are alive with energy which is also what you will absorb. Drink 12-15 glasses of water daily. Add Acai Berry concentrate to your healthy eating plan. Just two tablespoons daily on an empty stomach will do.
Have a monthly facial with diamond peel to exfoliate skin.
Avoid the sun from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wear sunblock.
Cut back on sugar. It causes wrinkles by attacking the collagen of skin.
Stay calm
It is only when you are not excitable, angry, depressed, frustrated that your body-mind-spirit balance is in harmony. By keeping yourself stable on the inside, your body?s physical appeal will be at its peak.
So keep cool. Or simply, chill.
Affirm: ?Today, I welcome a miracle.?
Love and light!
