When to watch the PH Paralympic team events—Manila time

The 2024 Paris Paralympics begins this week. Here’s when you can see six of our delegates in action

Six Filipino athletes—the biggest delegation in 12 years—will be representing the Philippines at the 2024 Paris Paralympics happening from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8.

The team consists of Paralympics veterans swimmer Ernie Gawilan and wheelchair racer Jerrold Pete Mangliwan together with first-time Paralympians taekwondoin Allain Ganapin, javelin thrower Cendy Asusano, swimmer Angel Otom, and archer Agustina Bantiloc.

The athletes wore Ditta Sandico-designed garments while Bantiloc and Gawilan bore the Philippine flag at the Paralympics Opening held outside of a stadium on Wednesday at Champs-Elysees and Place de la Concorde in Paris, France.
