These IKEA bestsellers are the perfect holiday gifts, and they just got a price drop

6 easy home upgrades perfect for holiday gifting or to keep for yourself from IKEA Philippines’s biggest price drop

September means it’s Christmas for Filipinos (we don’t make the rules). Apart from cooler weather and all-around cheer, something to look forward to is the early holiday deals that make the best gift-givers in our lives jump in glee. IKEA Philippines kickstarts holiday shopping with its biggest price drop across 2,000 items or 20 percent of its entire product range.

Starting Sept. 1, you can get IKEA bestsellers like that SKOGSFRÄKEN pillow and the MURVEL shoe organizer at even lower prices. And before you head out to the nearest IKEA store and try to outrace other smart shoppers, read this: IKEA is also reducing the cost of truck delivery from the previous maximum of P1,990 to a fixed price of P600.

But just because you can conveniently have your orders shipped to your door, doesn’t mean you should forgo the chance to find more deals in-store. For starters, Click & Collect services, which are previously priced at P590, are now free of charge at all IKEA Collection Points nationwide.

While you’re in there, why not get started on shopping for holiday decorations, too? The crowd favorite VINTERFINT collection, which includes holiday decors, textiles, lighting, and Christmas trees, just added new items to give a sense of warmth and festive joy to your home.

That goes too for these easy home upgrades that are sure to brighten up your spaces. Part of the reason why IKEA decided to hold its biggest price drop yet is the fact that almost half of Filipino respondents in its Life at Home Report in 2023 said that household finances and disposable income are sources of anxiety. While 38 percent are concerned about not having money to care for their homes, making them feel less in control of their daily lives.

“Our commitment to making quality home essentials more affordable is a reflection of our dedication to the many Filipinos,” said Gerard Jansen, IKEA Philippines and Singapore’s country retail director. “This early Christmas price drop is our way of helping families navigate the holiday season with greater ease and joy.”
