After closing the 2015 Chanel Couture show fully clothed in a bridal pantsuit, Kendall Jenner goes back to basics for another Calvin Klein underwear ad.
Released today, the ads reveal Kendall posing and giving a sultry stare in the brand’s signature sexy lace undies. Models Joan Smalls, Isabeli Fontana, and Edita Vilkevicuite join her for this campaign, which was shot by black-and-white portrait master Mikael Jansson.
These latest ads are part of the brand’s efforts to return to the risqué tradition it’s been known for. Running the tagline “the original sexy,” Calvin Klein’s creative team reasserts the brand’s game-changer status in the field of intimate wear.
“Calvin Klein originated sexy, and we’re going to reclaim, reimagine and reimage it,” said Melisa Goldie, chief marketing officer of Calvin Klein Inc. “We’re bringing together a powerful mix of women from all over the world to celebrate our heritage as a leader in the intimates category.”
This isn’t Kendall’s first time to strip it down. Earlier this year, the 19-year-old model of the moment went topless for GQ, and donned Kim K.-sized prosthetic boobs for Love magazine.
