Thirteen-year-old Claudia Barretto is your average eighth-grader, not counting the fact that her mom and aunts are pretty famous celebrities.
Her favorite subject in school is Language, and while she claims she’s not very good at basketball or volleyball, she is part of her school’s football varsity team. She also loves reading books, and she counts among her favorites “The Hunger Games” trilogy and “The Summer I Turned Pretty” by Jenny Hall, which she is rereading now.
Goody’s latest brand ambassador likes to keep her hairstyles simple when she’s in school. “I normally just wear it in a ponytail,” says Barretto. One of her
school essentials is the Quikstyle brush, a paddle brush with built-in microfiber bristles that help wick water away from freshly shampooed hair.
“It helps dry my long hair fast,” she says of her must-have hair tool for school.
Here are Claudia’s tips on how to score high on the hairstyling scale in school:
1. Make sure hair isn’t a distraction during class. Use a headband to pull hair away from face.
2. Bad hair day? Cute clips and colorful elastics can help turn a ponytail or topknot into an awesome hair day.
3. Keep hair soft by using a conditioner. It also helps to keep hair fragrant the whole day.
4. Add to your hairstyle knowledge by looking for tutorials on YouTube. You and your friends can have a hairstyling session and teach each other what you’ve learned!
