Museya Kafé by Margarita Forés is one more reason to go to Ayala Museum

There’s something new at Ayala Museum, and it’s not an exhibit: it’s Museya Kafé, the museum’s newly-opened al fresco dining area tucked behind the ground floor lobby.

Museya Kafé is the latest brainchild of Margarita Forés, number one on Asia’s 50 best female chefs in 2016 best known for Cibo, Lusso, and The Loggia at Palacio de Memoria. The cafe serves locally-sourced Arabica coffee, teas, and juices, as well as Filipino-inspired sandwiches, breads, and desserts to satisfy visitors after their  museum day out.

Compared to the museum’s former M Café, Museya is fully al fresco and has a more laid-back, intimate atmosphere. There are lots of tables in the open space, which also makes it the perfect location for spending a quiet day of either reading or people watching (a very underrated activity).

It’s located in the outdoor garden area of Ayala Museum and is conveniently connected to the rest of the Greenbelt area, which means you can stop by for a bite after shopping, too.

Museya Kafé is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.. You can visit Ayala Museum’s Instagram for more information.
