Wong Kar-Wai classics and Palm d’Or winners are coming to the big screen

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) has a treat for international cinephiles this March. “FDCP Presents: A Curation of World Cinema” is an up and coming contemporary film festival that will bring critically acclaimed and cult-classic films back to the big screen.

For diehard Wong Kar-Wai fans, you can look forward to a real-life cinema experience of his masterpieces like “In the Mood for Love,” “Chungking Express,” “Fallen Angels,” and “Happy Together” restored in 4K.

For French Film enthusiasts, you’ll also have the chance to catch Academy Award nominated and Palme d’Or winning film “Anatomy of a Fall” in cinemas.

Coming-of-age film and Cannes Un Certain Regard winner “How to Have Sex,” and internationally acclaimed Chinese arthouse Film “Only the River Flows” round out the films for this year’s festival.

The screenings start on March 6, so make sure to get your popcorn (and tissues) ready by then.
