MANILA, Philippines – Pictures can sometimes lie. Take the cover shots of this month’s Sunday Inquirer Magazine.

Looking at the pensive mood shots of singer Zia Quizon, you’d hardly imagine that they were taken inside a small windowless conference room in the library of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Just goes to show that some stars are so bright they don’t need fancy camera equipment or exotic locales to lend incandescence to the scene.
