The Bulgari store reopens at Rustan’s Shangri-La Mall

It seems even the wealthy can’t say no to a good bargain—if you could ever call prestige jewelry and watches a bargain, notwithstanding a dropped digit or two.

 

But that was precisely the scene at the recent event to celebrate the reopening of the Bulgari store in Rustan’s Tower Shangri-La Mall in Mandaluyong.

 

Loyal patrons sipped bubbly as they tried on precious pieces from the Italian jeweler’s High Jewellery and watches collection, on offer that evening at a special rate. It was a deal too good to refuse, surely, as the cordial staff was kept busy wrapping jewels in beribboned boxes.

 

The High Jewellery collection was on display for a limited period only at the Shang boutique. (The collection is a mainstay at the Greenbelt 4 store.) Apart from the high jewelry, there

were also pieces from the Serpenti collection, as well as a selection of watches. The boutique also had the leathergoods collection, including the Isabella Rossellini alligator purses.

 

The reopened shop on the second floor of Rustan’s Tower is by the entrance of the department store. It looks like a jewel in itself, encased in glass on all sides, and follows the new Bulgari store concept design worldwide: chic interiors and warm lighting to make for an elegant backdrop for the priceless baubles.

 

Bulgari country manager Mario Katigbak, with Rustan’s Tower branch manager Steve Madsley, welcomed guests that included Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno and his wife Agnes, who was spotted trying on a luscious pair of earrings.
