A night of fun with hot music and cool people happened recently at the launch of PLDT Home’s Fibr—said to be the most advanced broadband service because it uses fiber-optic cables that guarantee the fastest and most stable Internet connection.

The event, held at the Buddha Bar in Makati City, gathered hotshots from PLDT like the telecom company’s president and CEO Napoleon Nazareno; EVP and head of PLDT Home Business Ariel Fermin; VP and head of PLDT Home Fibr broadband Gary Dujali, among other officers.

International model/DJ Tenashar pumped up the crowd’s energy with the pulsating beats of her mixes.

Spotted among the guests was maestro Ryan Cayabyab, accompanied by his associate at Philpop Music Foundation, Patricia Bermudez-Hizon.

Outside the packed bar, a sleek red Ferrari F430 was on display, symbolizing what Fibr stands for, as Dujali pointed out: “Fast speed and service to our growing number of subscribers in some of the most posh villages and venues in the country.”

Inside the Fibr lounge, there was an LED TV screen and Telpad—a tablet and landline in one—which demonstrated how Fibr’s ultra-fast broadband can change the way people use the Internet.

“This latest innovation strengthens our ‘connected home’ vision,” explained Fermin. “This new partnership with Cignal is proof of PLDT’s culture of innovation as we commit to provide Filipino families with only the best telecommunication and digital entertainment services.”

Where else would young ladies Betina, Selina and Juliana Ocampo get their looks and fashion flair but from mom Tina Maristela-Ocampo?

Fashion seems to be in the genes of this famille, and Tina is proud of her daughters. “The first time I saw Selina and Betina working together, I found it so cute, seeing them putting swatches and beadwork together,” she said.
