Bringing the green outside in and onto your table

POTTED plants from your garden would make a good centerpiece or a conversation piece on the dinner table.

Making your table setting fancier and special just needs some imagination and resourcefulness. This time, look no further than a few of your potted plants or your garden. Aside from the sturdy and everlasting cactus, try a few fringes of anahaw or other small branch of leaves to fan out under a bowl or vase that could be holding a succulent or floating candle.

 

Tip: Wipe the leaves clean with a damp cloth or tissue. If you want to make the gloss stick, dilute an egg white with water for a shinier wash.
