Soprano Meneses featured in MCOF Young Artists Series

MYRAMAE Meneses

Soprano Myramae Meneses, 23rd Aliw Awards nominee and 2012 National Music Competition for Young Artists first prize winner, will hold her first major solo concert under the auspices of the Manila Chamber Orchestra Foundation Young Artists Series, on Oct. 2, 7 p.m. at the Ayala Museum.

 

Described as a singer with “a honey-lemon, buttery, textured voice, an unsullied musicality and superb technical prowess… a gemstone in the making,” Meneses is on her 5th year at the St. Scholastica’s College of Music. A Battig Music Foundation Scholar, she is also a  pianist and a violinist.

 

She trained under the Predis Program for the Strings of St. Scholastica’s College of Music before turning to Voice.

 

She is a student of Camille Lopez Molina.
