Sheer genius

There were several recurring trends that echoed throughout this season, and one of them was flirty and feminine sheer.

Designers such as Stella McCartney, and Elie Saab  embraced the subtle, seductive side of sheer dressing with tantalizing sheer inserts and floor-sweeping frocks.

Meanwhile, at Christian Dior, the show went on without the theatrics John Galliano was known for, and in its place, a more wearable collection reminiscent of Victorian boudoir gowns with tiers of flimsy fabric.
