Artmoves gathers eight dynamic artists led by singer-artist Kuh Ledesma, whose first solo exhibit last year was sold out.
Other artists in the show include:
Katrina Pallon, whose canvas is filled with brushstrokes in living color. She is highly influenced by Frida Kahlo.
Roland Santos, a master colorist, has had 10 one-man shows. His gracious rendering of the bougainvillea is a favorite of art collectors.
Jetro Jocson has earned recognition for his surreal, contemporary and minimalist works.
Monchot Ongsiako, a restaurant businessman, paints to soothe his stresses away. His seascapes in watercolor are tranquil works of colorful contemplation.
Evie Roque has collaborated with noted photographer Mandy Navasero to create digital works along the Warholian spirit.
Vinson Yap, owner of Award Works Inc., which makes plaques and trophies, paints landscapes in bright colors. He is also an abstract impressionist who uses happy, vivid colors.
“Artmoves” will run Oct. 25-28 at the LRI Design Plaza (Nicanor Garcia St., formerly Reposo, Makati City; tel. 8963208 or 0915-5430492).
