If you saw a flurry of posts last week featuring model Brent Javier, Marco Lobregat of Ministry of Mushrooms, chef JP Anglo of Sarsa Kitchen and Elbert Cuenca of Elbert’s Steak Room, and bloggers David Guison and AJ Dee at Felipe & Sons, you probably wondered what that was all about.
As it turns out the usually fully booked barberdashery (the space hosts a barbershop and haberdashery) was completely closed off for a private event where invitees could get a cut and shave using a new razor by Gilette.
“Felipe & Sons has a very traditional concept of men’s grooming, but here we see that even classic services and time-tested practices benefit from modern tools,” says Procter and Gamble Philippines’ chief marketing officer Ramachandra Golikere.
So if your man has shown an aversion to barbers handling a straight razor a little too close to their throats for comfort, the brand will be hosting a weeklong takeover at Felipe & Sons starting tomorrow until Sept. 12.
