To raise funds for the charities, the three held a joint birthday bash, “Disco Fever,” with everyone arriving in her favorite disco outfit of the ’60s, ’70s or ’80s.

 

Well-wishers were requested that in lieu of gifts, they should give cash or pledges to the celebrators’ favorite charities.

 

Brilliant chef Jessie Sincioco sponsored the superb dinner at Top of the Citi by Chef Jessie, and businessman Manny Osmeña of Mövenpick Resorts and Manny O Wines, natch, kept everyone on her feet with his awesome, renowned wines and the bubbly.

 

Loud laughter and wild applause went to the “comic” skit, with lawyer Rene Puno, fashion princess Linda Ley, adorable Ann Santa Cruz Puno, vivacious Len Olbes, exciting Rachel de Guzman and Hera as performers.

Mayenne danced a sizzling Argentine Tango number with William Panga.

 

It was way past Cinderella’s bedtime by the time these baby boomers staggered home.

‘Frank Sinatra’ in Manila

 

Dusit Thani Manila invited Sinatra and other fans of the crooner to its Grand Ballroom for “Frankly, I’m Back,” musical dinner-concert featuring the velvet-voiced crooner and British actor Richard Shelton singing the songs of Frank Sinatra.

 

Performing with Shelton was actor Nigel Miles-Thomas, who impersonated the “Rat Pack’s” Peter Lawford.

 

Women swooned to the timeless music of “Ol’ Blue Eyes.”

 

The excellent dinner consisted of Norwegian salmon and US beef tenderloin.
