On February 7, a skincare brand organized a fun-filled, cozy afternoon Valentine’s Day Hangout with the actor for its top customers, discussing self-care, skincare, and glow-up. His gushing fangirls were also in for a treat as they had the chance for an up-close meet-and-greet.
Hosted by Gianne Hinolan, an indie singer-songwriter and content creator, the program offered a fun-filled day of activities with a self-shoot photo booth setup by Atomm Studios for everyone to enjoy .
It started with the Pimple Eraser TikTok Dance challenge, followed by a Date-ready skincare segment, and concluded with a Question and Answer portion led by the Brand Innovation Manager, Ms. Frances Jabaguero, and Dr. Jarische Lao-Ang, a PDS Board-certified Dermatologist and Advocate of Healthy skin, hair, and nails.
As for the main event of the evening, a ‘Quick Match Game’ with Donny was held with three chosen fans to test their knowledge of the basics of skincare routine. Additionally, ten lucky girls secured a photo opportunity with him.
In a quick interview with the POP! team, Donny talked about his personal life, singing and acting career, and what to expect from his upcoming projects. When asked about his self-care and skincare advice for someone planning to go on a date this Valentine’s, he emphasized the importance of confidence, skincare, and smelling great to boost one’s self-esteem. He also advised to avoid activities that could potentially harm the skin and lead to oiliness and acne breakouts.
Wondering what an ideal date with Donny and a special fan would look like? It would take place somewhere at the beach, stargazing, and watching a movie you both would love.
