Artificial greens –don’t cringe!

If your lifestyle or living space does not allow for anything green to grow, here’s an option you might want to consider: artificial greens.

Don’t cringe! As opposed to silk flowers that can get dingy with time, we found fabulous-looking foliage and succulents that look like the real deal. And to further fool the eye, arrange them as if they were real.

Choose your preferred variety of foliage or succulent.

Prepare container.

Cut styrofoam board to fit inside the container. This will be used to anchor the artificial plants.

If you are using a clear glass container, leave a little space between styrofoam and container so you can insert moss in-between to hide it.

Put a layer of moss above and around the styrofoam.

Insert the stems of the artificial plants into the styrofoam. Apply some glue on the stems before inserting into the foam to secure them in place.

Tip: Limit your choice of greens per container to one or two varieties only, for added visual impact.
