Al Perez at Gallerie Y

Gallery Y presents “Mga Likhang Sining ni Al Perez” at the Art Center, SM Megamall.

 

The artist from Hagonoy, Bulacan, is known for his paintings of old churches. The works are in pen and ink, watercolor, oil pastel and mixed media. His acrylic collage and relief sculptures in marble wood, brass, resin and paper are also on view.

 

Painting churches is Perez’ way of preserving history. He also paints as subjects countryside scenes, flowers, saints and icons, Mother and Child, nudes.
