When you’re at the helm of a global brand pioneering on Philippine shores, things get hectic—especially during the holidays when everyone is out on a shopping frenzy. (Traffic has been more than horrible!)

Janice Go, general manager of the local franchise of lauded shoe line Stuart Weitzman, possesses that fresh, clean, impeccably put-together look despite back-to-back meetings, events and challenging business matters in the office.

She shares with Inquirer Lifestyle some quick style and beauty tips, plus the lucky few fashion brands she trusts apart from Stuart Weitzman.

Describe your personal style. What do you wear on a typical workday?

My style usually depends on my mood, but I am usually in a jacket and pants at work.

Name your top five fashion essentials.

A good watch, a nice pair of jeans, an all-around bag, pearl earrings, Stuart Weitzman pumps.

Favorite designer labels?

Stuart Weitzman, Givenchy, Roberto Cavalli and Prada.

What beauty tips can you share with our readers? Describe your morning and evening beauty regimen.

Teach yourself how to use a concealer to cover age spots that are starting to appear. I use Cetaphil and moisturizer in the morning and at night. If I wore makeup for the day, I’d add makeup remover to that regimen.

How do you reward yourself after a stressful work week?

To relax, I usually watch a movie or have a nice dinner with friends. Then on Sundays, I hang out with my family.

What is the quickest way for a busy career woman to feel beautiful?

A workout and a massage.

What makes a good first impression?

Just be yourself!

Among your closet pieces, what is your go-to, all around bag?

My Givenchy Antigona bag.

What other advice can you share with your fellow career women?

Choosing the right shoe can make a boring, ordinary ensemble look extraordinary.
