Add gilt to Christmas décor

DON’T give up just yet on those tired-looking décor from last year. Spray them with clear acrylic epoxy and breathe new life into them!

Add gilt to your décor the easy and inexpensive way. Even your little ones can help out in this simple craft.

Gather dried branches and buy a roll of aluminum duct tape from the hardware store.

Aluminum duct tape is just like the aluminum foil we use in the kitchen but with an adhesive back and comes in several widths. A roll measuring 150 ft by 3 inches costs less than P300.

Step 1: Wipe your dried branches clean with a dry cloth.

Step 2: Unroll aluminum tape and wrap adhesive part around the branches, rubbing firmly so it sticks to every curve of your branch. You may rub with a dry cloth afterward.

Step  3: Once you’ve successfully covered the branches, you can either arrange them in a vase or lay them artistically across a table or other flat surface. You can then begin embellishing them if you want to add Christmas ornaments.
