Fifty-seven artists from different fields of arts will be honored by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) through the Ani ng Dangal Awards at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila on Feb 2.

 

Now on its sixth year, the Ani ng Dangal (Harvest of Honors) Awards recognizes artists who have earned international awards and accolades during the past year. The annual event is part of the Philippine Arts Festival (PAF) 2014, NCCA’s grand event in celebration of the National Arts Month every February.

 

Among this year’s awardees are Bridgebury Realty Corporation and Maria Cecilia Cruz (for Architecture); Adrielle Esteban, Alessandra de Rossi, Anita Linda, Auraeus Solito, Barbara Miguel, Briccio Santos, Brillante Ma. Mendoza, Dwein Baltazar, Eddie Garcia, Emmanuel Quindo Palo, Kidlat Tahimik, Eugene Domingo, Gutierrez “Teng” Mangansakan II, Ian Loreños, Inshallah Montero, Jericho Rosales, Joel Torre, Jun Robles Lana, Nora Aunor, Marilen Magsaysay, Paul Sta. The Ani ng Dangal exhibit at Resorts World Manila will run Feb. 2-7.
