UST national writers workshop now open for applications

Applications are now open to the University of Santo Tomas National Creative Writing Workshop.

 

Organized by the UST Center for Creative Writing and Literary Studies (CCWLS), the workshop is open to both Thomasian and non-Thomasian writers. (“Thomasians” may be UST students, alumni or faculty.)

 

Twelve fellowships are available. Workshop will be held at Ridgewood Residence, Baguio City,  May 18-24.

 

Applicants must submit a manuscript. A manuscript in either in English or Filipino must consist of either two short stories, two works of creative nonfiction, or four poems. Manuscripts should be submitted in hard copy and on CD, preferably in MS Word format, together with an updated resumè, a recommendation letter from a literary mentor, a certification that the works are original, and two 2×2 ID pictures.
