One of the stores at Rockwell Power Plant Mall has a rich heritage.
Brooks Brothers is a classic American brand that’s now catering to a sophisticated clientele. Opened in 1818, Brooks Brothers is the first ready-to-wear fashion brand in the United States, having shaped the American style of dressing through the centuries.
To showcase this fashion heritage, we did a shoot of expats in the Philippines, in Brooks Brothers wardrobe, at Rockwell’s Sakura Unit showroom.

How long have you been staying in the Philippines? One year.
What do you like most about living here?
The people! Never have I been surrounded by such warm, kind, happy people. The culture is rich, welcoming and diverse.
I’m often asked if I look forward to vacationing throughout Asia, but with so many tourist destinations and the prevalent “Mabuhay spirit,” I truly believe that it’s more fun in the Philippines!

How long have you been staying in the Philippines?
Six months.
What do you like most about living here?
The main thing I love about the Philippines are the people— they are humble, warm, friendly and a joy to be around. Also, the culture here is different from other Asian countries. It’s a unique mixture of Asian and Spanish elements.
