Educator awarded Most Distinguished Bedan

DR. RAMONRicardo A. Roque

The San Beda College Alumni Association (SBCAA) has unanimously chosen Dr. Ramon Ricardo “Cardie” A. Roque, Ceso 1, Diplomate, as the 2014 Most Distinguished Bedan in the field of education. Awarding rites will take place during the annual Red and White Ball at the Meralco Hall to be  hosted by Dr. Manuel V. Pangilinan, chairperson of the board of San Beda College.


Dr. Roque is currently the Dean of the San Beda Graduate School of Business, current member and former chair of the San Beda Board of Trustees. He is part of the CHEd technical panel as well as its former accreditor. He is a summa cum laude graduate and has a doctorate in management. He has four books and several publications in his name. Dean Roque is a diplomate in business education. He is also deputy secretary general of the House of Representatives.


In selecting Dean Roque to receive the 2014 Most Distinguished Bedan award, San Beda College recognizes his significant contributions to the growth and development of San Beda College as one of the country’s premiere educational institutions; his outstanding performance in the field of education; his exceptional distinguished professional ability and leadership qualities; his unwavering commitment and dedicated service to the education sector; and his embodying the Benedictine ideals of faith, knowledge and virtue.
