River Island launched in the last quarter of 2013, and brought with them the final collection of Rihanna for the eponymous brand.
The line is Riri’s first foray into designing clothes. The collection personifies the American Music Awards’ Icon Awardee that is slowly becoming a fashion “it” girl of this generation.
From the gold textured oversized shirt and tartan plaid prints to the floral tops and velvet T-shirt dress, the fall collection of Rihanna x River Island would help you feel sexy, playful and quirky all at the same time.

‘Phresh out the runway!’
Fearlessly flaunt your legs on the street, and strut like there’s no tomorrow. Rihanna’s gold texturized body-con skirt shows us that long skirts don’t have to be boring.
PS: Long skirts will be one of the biggest trends for Spring/Summer 2014.

‘Shut up and drive’
These quirky tartan pants are reminiscent of the sexy-innocent look of Rihanna in 2007. It was the time the singer was setting her own trends, starting with drastically cutting her hair short. The key here is to balance the exposure of skin, which Rihanna has mastered.

To instantly channel the “Riri” look, get her oversize textured gold shirt. Its thickness gives it the “T” structure, and makes it look like a mod shift dress with a touch of athleticism. Pairing the ensemble with killer grunge boots would nail the hip-hop flair.

The Barbados beauty is not afraid of being the center of attention, and that’s why she’s one of the fashion icons of this generation. Even a brightly colored dress would not make this singer cringe so easily. Her racer tank dress can make anyone stand out in the crowd

The “Disturbia” singer knows that a little black dress is every girl’s best friend. With her line, she has a loose velvet T-shirt dress that is both comfy and effortlessly chic.
