First-ever Virtual National Trade Fair is happening from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2

The country’s first-ever Virtual National Trade Fair is happening from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2. Spearheaded by the Department of Trade and Industry through the Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP) and in collaboration with DTI Regional and Provincial Offices, the week-long fair will connect micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, large corporate merchandisers, and export consolidators.

One hundred exhibitors from different regions are joining the fair to showcase their products such as food and beverages, health and wellness items, gifts, and souvenirs. Following a B2B (business-to-business) model, MSMEs and buyers can transact online through chat, video calls or virtual meetings.

Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on  the first four days of the fair but visitors can view the products anytime at their respective booths and leave a message for future transactions. un

Aside from the trade fair, there will be a series of webinars for new entrepreneurs and small businesses. The trade fair is open to the public. Visit its website to register and to get  updates.
