10 new beauty, fashion finds | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

It can be quite tiring to search for new beauty items because it’s easier to stick to what’s familiar. To make it easy for you, I would like to share my top 10 beauty finds this month.

1. Proenza Schouler x MAC lipstick in Woodrose—When Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez partnered with makeup giant MAC Cosmetics, they made sure that their first foray into the field exuded the same characteristics as the women they designed for.

Tropical colors, perfect for summer, take the lead in the collaboration.

Woodrose is a light pink with beige—a fresh combination suitable for nights on the beach or a day in the sizzling city.

2. Tory Burch Eau de Parfum Spray—If you’re looking for a brand-new scent to wear for summer, look no further than Tory Burch’s first-ever fragrance. A refreshing combination of grapefruit, peony, jasmine and cedar, this one is soothing and airy.

3.   Lift’Argan L’huile Sèche Divine (Global Anti-Aging Divine Dry Oil)—Argan oil is Morocco’s best beauty secret. It’s 100-percent organic, and rich in Omegas 6 and 9, and vitamin E—leaving your skin bright and youthful. Lift’Argan’s Dry Oil fights aging by filling wrinkles, restoring firmness, nourishing skin cells, bringing out radiance, and soothing dry skin. You will definitely feel the effects from the very first drop.

4. Hermès Spring/Summer 2014 RTW—Not only am I a lover of beauty products, I am also a follower of fashion. Hermès’ Spring/ Summer collection is an exploration on the colors of the rainforest. Shades of green and tropical prints (done the Hermès way, of course!) mixed with loose, very Lawrence of Arabia silhouettes, transport you back to period when people still dressed to the nines even on safari! Luxurious yet light fabrics like cotton crepe and gabardine keep the collection easy. If only money grew on trees.

5. Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30—If you’re like me, who finds the sun’s rising enough reason to moisturize, then the Mario Badesco Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30 is the brand to try. Not only does it have anti-aging properties, it’s also one of the moisturizers that is lightweight and easily absorbed. It’s just right for summer—not only does it absorb easily, so you don’t have to deal with icky residue, it also has SPF 30 for sun protection.

6. Kérastase Lift Vertige—I’m the type of person whose hair is always tied when I’m at work. But I like to let my hair down when I leave the office. Kérastase Lift Vertige is appropriate when you’re in a relaxed mood and quite ready for some va-va-voom volume. It gives you the right amount of lift, while giving your hair enough room to breathe and move.

7. Clinique Cheek Pop— With such a cute packaging, how can you resist this one? I used it at a beauty editorial recently, and I have to say, I really fell in love with the product. It leaves no trace of powder or build-up on your cheeks, yet the colors are vibrant and long-lasting. It’s perfect for achieving that natural, no-make up look that will last you the entire day!

8. NARSissist Eye Palette—Sometimes it’s such a hassle to carry around many eye-shadow containers in your makeup kit. NARS has made life much easier for girls by putting together 15 of its most beloved shades into one palette. Try out different looks by combining any of the shades available. The possibilities are endless.

9. Mont Blanc Meisterstück Heritage Perpetual Calendar Watch—I love a finely made men’s watch. Whether for my husband or myself, it’s the perfect accessory—not only does it give you the time, but the watch itself tells a story: years of legacy, hours of creation. The Mont Blanc Meisterstück Heritage Perpetual Calendar Watch is not only amazing to look at, but also features a perpetual calendar (a calendar that needs no adjusting even on months that do not end on the 31st). It’s definitely something you’d want to keep for a long time, and maybe pass on to your kids when they grow up.

10. Michelline Syjuco Bracelet—For me, accessories make an outfit. Enter Michelline Syjuco and her Theater of the Mind collection. A collection of statement pieces ranging from skull clutches to statement neckpieces, it borders on the surreally beautiful.

My favorite piece from this collection is this gold bracelet featuring melted plates. It’s so interesting, and is just enough to perk up a white T-shirt-and-jeans combo.
