The University of Santo Tomas Center for Creative Writing and Literary Studies (UST-CCWLS) will hold the Thomasian Students Summer Writers’ Workshop on April 2-4, at the Bulwagang Rogge, Benavides Building, UST, Manila.
The workshop is part of a program intended to discover and nurture beginning writers belonging to the University’s different colleges, a program that Rector Magnificus, Rev. Fr. Herminio V. Dagohoy, OP, considers very important.
The following UST students have been accepted as writing fellows: Aimee Cando, Arsenio P. Padilla III, Patrick John D. Danque, Ingrid Sharmaine T. Bobes, Francis Factolerin, Jasper Emmanuel Y. Arcalas, Harvey James Castillo, John Robert Magsombol, Aaron Philip M. de la Cruz, George G. Deoso, Clara Angela R. Murallos, Edlyn Joyce B. Samonte.
The teaching panel is composed of UST CCWLS resident fellows and associates: director Cristina Pantoja Hidalgo, Rebecca T. Añonuevo, Michael M. Coroza, Joselito de los Reyes, Ralph Semino Galán, Augusto Antonio Aguila and Chuckberry Pascual.
Resident fellows Ferdinand M. Lopez and Jaymee T. Siao are the workshop coordinators.
