With her incomparable energy (“My friends say I should donate my DNA to the army”), Tracy Sedino is able to do it all.
When she’s not working as marketing director for the iconic Linda Farrow sunglasses line, she’s either having drinks with the world’s who’s who (she considers photographer Mario Testino her best friend), or is on the other side of the world, jumping off a plane from 15,000 feet.
The Inquirer RED Magazine May issue cover girl brings an enigmatic feel to the sunglasses brand (which she co-owns with her husband Simon Jablon, Farrow’s son). “Everybody loves her. Everybody wants a piece of her. Everybody wants Tracy time,” a colleague says.
And it’s easy to understand why. Accompanying her signature red lips and kohl-lined eyes are a warm smile and an accommodating spirit. With a voice reminiscent of Naomi Campbell, she lures you into an interesting conversation. It comes as no surprise then that she has been able to turn the Linda Farrow line from a brand of a time long gone, to one of the most coveted in the world.
Here are Tracy Sedino’s must-haves:
LINDA Farrow 38 snakeskin sunglasses
RUBY Woo lipstick by MAC—“I can’t live without it.”
SHU Uemura eyeliner pen—“It’s the best eyeliner; it stays and doesn’t smudge. It also has the best tip, perfect for creating that flick.”
SKII facial treatment mask—“I carry one everywhere with me. It keeps me hydrated, and makes me look a little cuckoo.”
CHARLOTTE Olympia Message in a Bottle shoe
“I LOVE this Christopher Kane bandeau dress.”
OPI Big Apple red nail polish—“Like with my red lipstick, I feel naked without my red nails.”
ORIBE Impermeable anti-humidity spray—“It protects my hair from the sun; I was once platinum blonde and it ruined my hair; I’m still recovering. I’m being extra-safe by using UV protection. Also, this product is like dry shampoo, plus the packaging is amazing.”
