DIY-stylish shoe rack

Since time immemorial, women have had a special love affair with shoes. For many, it is their most prized possession, making their pulses race like no other. Here’s a stylish way to keep your precious collection organized, and on display.

 

What you’ll need:

 

• Wood molding, may be purchased in large hardware stores
• Wall screws or nails
• Hammer or drill
• Saw

 

How:

 

1. Measure the width of the wall you’ll be using.

 

1. With a saw, cut the molding to size.

 

1. Mark the wall for the screws or nails to hold up the molding.

 

1. Drill a hole at the back of the molding on both ends to fit the head of the screw or nail.

 

1. Hang the wood molding.

 

Hang your shoes!

 

Tip:

 

Paint the wood molding in bright colors to punch up the look or, for a classic touch, use a gold or silver finish.
