Here is a DIY activity that will make a delightful giveaway for your next party, or as a hostess gift.
You will need to do the following steps:
Use an empty bottle with a tin cover (cleaned and sterilized in hot water).
Buy or use a plastic pump, commonly used in dispensers.
Using a sharp tool, cut out a circle with just enough space to insert the plastic pump.
While the hot glue is drying, you can begin to make the label.
You can use sticker paper or art paper and design your label on the computer and print out, but we recommend that you make a hand made label to add a personal and charming touch.
We found vintage print paper from All About Scrapbooking in National Book Store, and an embossed border that we used to give dimension and texture to the handmade label.
When your label is finished, you can pour in the hand soap of your choice into the bottle.
(You should do this before attaching the label in case the soap spills out of the rim, to avoid staining the label.)
Use double-sided tape to stick your label onto the jar and for the embossed border to stick onto your handmade label.
