Travel fair to focus on Taiwan

TAIWAN Lantern Festival or Yuan Xiao Festival, one of themost anticipated event in Taiwan which aims to spread traditional folklore.

Inveterate travelers can look forward to booking their trips to Taiwan later this month when Taiwan Travel Fair opens. The two-day event will be on July 26-27 at the Event Center of SM Megamall, where Taiwan’s tourism will be  promoted among Filipino travel enthusiasts.

 

The expo will showcase what Taiwan has to offer in terms of travel, hospitality and food aspects. This fair will basically endorse Taiwan as one of Asia’s must see destinations and as the newest tourist spot for Filipinos. Likewise, the tradeshow will underscore the convenience and perks of travelling to Taiwan, like the no visa requirement for visiting tourists.

 

The slogan “Time for Taiwan” is a statement that promises to provide travelers and tourists the best Taiwan has to offer—from tourist spots, scenery, food, arts and culture, malls, shops.

These airlines and travel agencies will help in introducing Taiwan and its many surprises.

Local Taiwanese artists who will come to entertain the crowd during the fair are the Grassroot Performing Troupe, Cash Magic, and M.H.D. Diabolo Art Taiwan.

 

There will also be a do-it-yourself station for handmade steamed buns, painting whipping tops, imprinting leaves on towels, pressing flowers on paper fans, and cooking of the traditional fish ball soup headed by the Taiwan Leisure Farm Development Association.
