MANILA, Philippines–HAJA PARTY: The 90s Pop and Kpop Clash is Playhouse Production’s signature K-pop event to be held on October 31 at the CAP Auditorium in Makati City. It will have categories of K-pop cover dance remix, K-pop solo cosplay and K-pop group cosplay with 20 slots each.
The twist of the dance contest is the K-pop Cover Dance Remix (Dance Battle), as each of the group contestants have to mix their piece with a ‘90s song towards the end of their routine.
One of the main highlights of this event is the comeback stage of M3G. The group is set to bring to stage its new song “Soulmate.” The track was written by their manager, Michelle Ann Rio, arranged by Exactly Four’s vocalist, Oddysseus Cabual, and recorded at Impluwencia Recording Studio in Quezon City.
In lieu of the song’s special promotion, the five finalists of “Are u my soulmate?” will also be performing live.
The event officially kicks off once the pre-registration starts on July 28. There will be three registration sites in Quezon City, Mandaluyong, and Manila from August to October. Actual event is on October 31 at the CAP Auditorium in Makati City.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the solo and the group cosplay categories and cover dance remix. Attendees may also simply opt to join as an audience, a fan club member, a merchandiser, a guest performer, or even an event volunteer.
