After the roaring success of this year’s first Scout Campus Tour in UP Diliman last March, the Voice of the Millennial is coming back to a place they haven’t set foot in in a couple of years: the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde.
On Wednesday, May 17, Scout hangs out with all their CSB peeps at the 12F SDA Cafeteria from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., where it’s gonna be all fun, games, life lessons, and music all afternoon.
The Scout Campus Tour staples are returning for the CSB leg. We’ve still got the giant board and table games for your whole gang, a couple of speakers, and of course, a lit lineup of performers to cap the afternoon. For anyone who needs to vent and release some feels, Scout’s also teamed up with Pioneer Mighty Bond for an upgraded Scout wall, where you can now craft some real art and stick it on, beyond just writing your emotions out.
CSB’s own homegrown talents will be providing the tunes: Primo Musico will be represented by acts Space Onigiri, Northern Man, and JLevel. Officially main-eventing the music that day will be none other than homegirl BP Valenzuela.
Joining the fun on May 17 will be important talks to help students guide them on their post-college future. Russ Vergara of Vgrafiks will be there to talk about how his art and design gave him some meaning, while comic artist, illustrator, filmmaker, and CSB alum Dani Chuatico will discuss making art for a living.
The Scout editorial team will also be there to talk about the inner workings of the magazine, as well as check out portfolios and look for new interns—if you want to be a part of the team, then this might be your chance! Plus, the Students’ Gallery is also back from the UP Diliman leg, where it proved to be a real hit.
And for anyone still looking to cop a piece from the Scout x Proudrace “Trust” clothing collection, there will be a pop-up merch booth for you.
The Scout Campus Tour is presented by Scout in cooperation with Pioneer Mighty Bond, with special thanks to Reef and Oakley. This event is powered by Hinge Inquirer Publications in partnership with Media Max and supported by our media partners Philippine Daily Inquirer, Inquirer Super, Benildean Press Corp, The Benildean Yearbook (Ad Astra), When In Manila, Bandwagon Philippines, and Indie Manila.
